Perennial succulent with a thick trunk, often branching at the base. The branches are crowned by rosettes of ovate, sometimes finely toothed, pale yellowish green variegated leaves, 50-70cm long, with no terminal spines. Recurving racemes, to 3.5m or more long, bear greenish white flowers, 6cm long, in summer. Height 1m, Spread 2m Native to C. Mexico.
